We require CCTV/Control Centre Operator for our busy control room in Birmingham working on a shift pattern of 4 days on, 4 days off, 4 nights on, 4 nights off. you will average 42 hours per week, you must do both nights and days. you must be flexible and be willing to cover holidays with in your team, for which an enhanced payment will be made.

To do this job you must hold a valid frontline SIA License.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • You will be responsible to reviewing and deciding on the course of action following receipt of any alarm activations from our monitored CCTV systems. This may include investigation and closing down false alarms or calling the police and site management in the event of intruders or unidentified persons on site.
  • You will monitor the Timegate system and follow up on missed check calls to establish the welfare of the officer on site.
  • You will handle incidents where security operatives need assistance. This may include referring to the site instructions and passing on information, summoning assistance if required.
  • You will work 12-hour shifts on a 4 on days, 4 off, 4 on nights, 4 off.

Person Specification:

  • You must have 1 years’ experience within the security industry, preferably within a Control Room environment. You will then be required to undergo an intense period of training in our inhouse systems and procedures.
  • you must have good communications skills as you are required to type reports, send emails and talk to persons at all levels. being able to use Microsoft office is essential.
  • You must have a five-year checkable history to complete the required security vetting.
  • You must be in possession of a Frontline SIA license and have good verbal and written communication skills together with good attention to detail.

Salary: £10.95 Per Hour

Holiday entitlement: 28 days including statutory bank holidays Pro rata

Executive Marketing Manager

Job Descriptions:

 

This role will be to support the Security Marketing Manager – who will be responsible for planning and delivery of security campaigns, marketing collateral, strategic plans and manage the business-as-usual activity to promote security trade.

Role:

  • Manage the day-to-day output across all security social media channels, including writing posts and updating Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tik Tok, and LinkedIn.
  • Creating social media campaigns, sometimes aligned with paid campaign activity to increase engagement and target new audiences, together with tracking activity, analysing results and reporting back to the wider team.
  • Responding to customer feedback and maintaining communications online across social media email inboxes, keeping the wider team informed of inquiries.
  • Work with the marketing team to curate content and information for a number of marketing assets, to support security work packages.
  • Use website analytics to assess the effectiveness of ongoing campaigns and understand the way users interact with the site.
  • Identify new trends in digital marketing, evaluate new technologies and ensure the company is at the forefront of developments, particularly developments and best practice in digital marketing for security.
  • Work with the Marketing Manager on integrated campaigns/projects, ensuring all work is proofread, complies with brand and has been signed off by account leads.

Skills:

  • Experience producing collateral and / or events.
  • Digital marketing including supporting B2B social channels, using a CMS or analytics packages • Ability to analyse and interpret varied data to prepare clear and concise reports, e-newsletters, web content, briefings and presentations for marcomms managers and key stakeholders.
  • Ability to deal with and manage confidential and sensitive information with a high level of integrity

Responsibilities:

As a Security Operations Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our security services. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Site Visits:Conducting thorough site visits to complete officer welfare checks, appraisals, inductions, etc and provide solutions based on industry best practices. Collaborating with clients to understand their specific site requirements and designing tailored security solutions accordingly.
  2. Business Development:Proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to expand our client base. Building and nurturing relationships with potential clients, presenting our security services, and negotiating contracts to secure new partnerships.
  3. Client Interaction:Serving as the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring we are meeting all KPI’s and relevant compliance. Deliver excellent customer service and satisfaction. Addressing any concerns, inquiries, or issues that may arise and providing effective solutions in a timely manner.
  4. Team Management:Overseeing a team of security officers, including recruitment, training, and performance management. Ensuring compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and health and safety standards.
  5. Operational Efficiency:Implementing and maintaining effective security protocols, procedures, and systems to safeguard client premises and assets. Continuously monitoring and evaluating security operations to identify areas for improvement and enhance efficiency.

Requirements:

To be considered for the position of Security Operations Manager, you should meet the following requirements:

  1. Experience:Minimum of 2 years of experience in security operations management, including site visits, business development, and client interaction.
  2. Knowledge:In-depth understanding of security industry practices, standards, and technologies. Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements e.g. ACS, BS:7858, ISO9001.
  3. Leadership Skills:Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of effectively managing teams and driving operational excellence.
  4. Communication:Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently and professionally with clients, officers, and stakeholders at all levels.
  5. Analytical Thinking:Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyse complex situations, identify risks, and implement appropriate solutions.
  6. Flexibility:Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Qualifications:SIA licence/s, First Aid and to be able to be screened and vetted to BS:7858 standards.
